By using the River Ridge Inn website and making a reservation, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all bookings made via our website, phone, or third-party booking platforms. It is the guest’s responsibility to read and understand these terms before making a reservation. Check-In and Check-Out Policy
Check-in begins at 3:00 PM. Check-out is required by 11:00 AM on the day of departure. Late check-out requests may be accommodated upon availability and may incur an additional fee. If you anticipate arriving after 6:00 PM, please contact us to arrange for late check-in instructions.
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. All personal information collected during the booking process will be used solely for reservation purposes and to provide you with important updates or offers. We do not share your information with third parties except as necessary to process your payment, facilitate your stay, or as required by law. Force Majeure Clause
River Ridge Inn is not liable for any cancellations, delays, or interruptions to services caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or other emergencies. In such cases, guests will be contacted, and alternative arrangements or refunds will be considered based on the specific circumstances.
Reservation and Cancellation Policy
Our policy is designed to ensure a smooth and transparent booking process, providing peace of mind for both our guests and our team. We strive to maintain clarity and fairness in all reservations to avoid any misunderstandings.
Deposit Requirement: A deposit of 50% of your total booking cost is required to confirm all reservations.
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept all major credit cards. Please note that a 3% processing fee will be added to all invoices for credit card transactions.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 14 days prior to your reservation date will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made after this period may forfeit the deposit unless otherwise agreed upon. Cancellations made 8-14 days prior to reservation will keep a first night charge, and if a cancellation is made within 7 days, the entire reservation will be charged.
We understand that emergencies and unusual circumstances happen. With that said, anticipated weather changes or river conditions are not reasons for cancellation. We will make every effort to work with our guests on rescheduling their visit with us. In most cases, we will apply any forfeitures of deposit or payment toward a rescheduled visit. We greatly appreciate your understanding and cooperation in honoring your reservation, as it allows us to provide the best possible service and accommodation for all our guests.
Liability Limitation
River Ridge Inn is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal property during your stay. Guests assume all risks associated with the natural surroundings, including the North Fork River and outdoor activities. Guests are encouraged to take appropriate precautions and use safety equipment, such as life vests if necessary.
Third-Party Activities and Services Policy
At River Ridge Inn, we strive to offer guests a wide range of activities to enhance their stay, including those provided by third-party vendors, such as fishing guides, wellness instructors, and other recreational services. Please note that while we may recommend or assist in booking these services, they are independent providers and not directly affiliated with River Ridge Inn.
By participating in any third-party activities or services, guests acknowledge and agree to the following:
Independent Providers: Third-party services, including but not limited to fishing guide services, health and wellness sessions, or adventure tours, are operated independently of River Ridge Inn. River Ridge Inn does not own, operate, or control these services and is not responsible for their actions, conduct, or safety practices.
Assumption of Risk: Guests choosing to participate in third-party activities do so at their own risk. All risks associated with these activities, including but not limited to injury, loss, accidents, or damages, are the sole responsibility of the guest and the third-party provider.
Waiver of Liability: River Ridge Inn will not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during participation in any third-party services. Guests agree to release River Ridge Inn from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their participation in these activities.
Third-Party Policies and Terms: Guests are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the policies, safety guidelines, and terms of service provided by the third-party vendors. It is the guest’s responsibility to comply with any rules or guidelines set forth by these providers.
Payment and Cancellations: Payment for third-party services may be processed directly by the service provider or through River Ridge Inn as a convenience to our guests. Cancellation and refund policies for third-party services are subject to the terms of the individual provider and may differ from River Ridge Inn’s policies. Guests should confirm these terms with the provider at the time of booking.
Concierge Services: River Ridge Inn may assist in coordinating third-party services as part of our concierge offering. However, this assistance does not imply endorsement or guarantee of the quality or safety of the third-party services provided.
Pet Policy
At River Ridge Inn, we allow dogs as guests under specific conditions and at our sole discretion. To clarify, no animals other than dogs and humans are permitted on the property. We reserve the right to decline the presence of any dog that may impact the safety, welfare, or privacy of our guests. Not all guests will be allowed to bring dogs, as we aim to create a peaceful environment for everyone.
A pet fee will be applied to all dogs accompanying guests. Please ensure that your dog is up to date on all required vaccinations and has been treated for fleas and ticks prior to your stay. Any damage caused to our property or disruption to the well-being of other guests will be the full responsibility of the dog’s owner or handler.
Please also be aware that Norfork, AR, has ordinances requiring all dogs to be on a leash when not on the owner's property. We kindly ask that you comply with this regulation during your stay to maintain a safe and pleasant experience for everyone at the Inn. By bringing a pet onto the property, the owner acknowledges the inherent risks involved with pets interacting with people, other animals, and the environment. The pet owner assumes full responsibility for managing these risks and any resulting consequences. Pet owners agree to indemnify and hold harmless River Ridge Inn, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their pet’s presence on the property, including injuries to third parties or damages to property.

Children
At River Ridge Inn, we take great pleasure in seeing young guests experience the joy of catching their first trout. We welcome children of all ages and are committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests.
For safety reasons, we require that all children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The North Fork River can pose serious risks, especially for younger guests, and the dock is particularly hazardous, regardless of supervision. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for ensuring the safety and behavior of their children during their stay. River Ridge Inn assumes no responsibility for injuries or damages resulting from unsupervised or inappropriate behavior. Guests must take full responsibility for any damage to property or disruption to other guests caused by their children.
To maintain the peaceful and relaxing environment we offer at River Ridge Inn, we ask that all families be mindful of other guests. Any complaints regarding disruptive behavior will result in a warning and, if necessary, termination of your stay. Please note that no refunds will be issued in the event that you are asked to leave due to the behavior of your children. By staying at River Ridge Inn with children, parents or guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless River Ridge Inn, its owners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from or related to the actions, behavior, or supervision of their children. This includes any injuries, property damage, or disruptions caused by the children to other guests, staff, or property during their stay.
River Ridge Inn observes quiet hours after 10:00 p.m. In addition, we have limited yard games available, as our grounds and gardens are carefully maintained and considered one of our most valuable assets. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in preserving the serene atmosphere of our inn for all visitors.
Damages and Theft
River Ridge Inn values the preservation of its property and the comfort of all guests. We expect visitors to respect our facilities, furnishings, and amenities. Any damages caused to the property, whether accidental or intentional, will be the financial responsibility of the guest who caused or oversaw the cause of the damage.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Damage to furniture, equipment, fixtures, and any items located in guest rooms, communal areas, or outdoor spaces.
- Damage caused by misuse or negligence, whether by the guest, their children, or pets.
- Any significant cleaning required due to excessive mess beyond standard use.
Theft of any property or items belonging to River Ridge Inn will be taken seriously. Guests who remove items from their rooms or any other areas of the inn without authorization will be charged for the full replacement cost of the item(s). This applies to furnishings, decor, linens, towels, equipment and any other property that is part of the inn’s amenities.
River Ridge Inn reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for the cost of repairs, replacements, or any losses due to theft. Guests will be informed of such charges in writing, and the costs will reflect the market value of the damaged or stolen property, including any lost revenue from unusable facilities.
By staying at River Ridge Inn, guests agree to this policy and understand their liability for any damage or theft that occurs during their stay.
Environmental Responsibility
At River Ridge Inn, we are committed to minimizing our environmental impact. We encourage guests to be mindful of water and energy use during their stay and to participate in any recycling programs we offer. Together, we can help preserve the natural beauty of our surroundings for future guests.
By staying at River Ridge Inn, guests agree to this policy and understand their liability for any damage or theft that occurs during their stay.
Health and Safety Policies
At River Ridge Inn, the health, safety, and comfort of our guests are top priorities. Guests will never be required or mandated to comply with any specific health guidelines during their stay. House Rules
River Ridge Inn is a non-smoking property. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. Violations of this policy will result in additional cleaning fees. Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM to ensure a peaceful stay for all guests.
Modification of Terms
River Ridge Inn reserves the right to modify these policies and terms at any time without prior notice. It is the responsibility of the guest to review the policies periodically for any updates.
