Policies and Procedures
Pet Policy -- Only dogs, at the discretion of River Ridge Inn, will be allowed as guests at our facilities. To make this policy clear, no life form other than dogs and humans will be allowed. We reserve the right to discriminate against allowing dogs based on how it might effect the welfare, safety and privacy for our guests during your requested reservation period. Best to call or email River Ridge Inn. (jimsmith@riverridgeinn, or 870-499-7775) There will be an added pet charge on ALL dogs allowed to be our guests. Breeds known to have severe shedding will be scrutinized. Please make sure that your animal is current in all required vaccinations, and, that preventatives such as flea, tick and heart worm have been administered. All damages to our property or the welfare of our guests will be the direct responsibility of the owner or handlers. Norfork, AR has ordinances related to a required leash on all dogs not on the owners property.

Children -- Nothing is as great as watching young children catch their first trout at Dry Run Creek. We thoroughly enjoy children of all ages. We must insist that all children under the age of 14 be accompanied by an adult at all times. The North Fork River can be an extremely dangerous river. The most dangerous place for children to be, whether being supervised or not, is the dock. If you need a flotation device, ask us, we have many sizes. We must insure that the solitude and relaxing atmosphere be maintained so that ALL our guests are comfortable. Complaints will result in warnings and/or termination of your stay. No refund will be given if you are asked to leave for the behavior of your children.

Check In time is 2:00 p.m. but if you are arriving sooner, let us know and we will try to accommodate. If you plan on arriving after 9 p.m. you also need to let us know so we can give you late night check in procedures.

Check out time is 11 a.m. Because of the required time to ready your room or cottage for the next guests, late check out is very stressful. If we can accommodate a late check out we will.

A word about damages, River Ridge Inn is not responsible for lost or stolen property. You are responsible for leaving the accommodations as you found them. The registered guest will be responsible for all damages found during and after your departure. Any unusual damage WILL result in an itemized invoice and subsequent charges made to the credit card on file.

Price, Procedures and Policies are subject to change with out notice.
DO'S, DON'TS AND EMERGENCIES DURING YOUR STAY
WELCOME TO RIVER RIDGE INN Thank you for being a guest of River Ridge Inn…Welcome!! We want to make your visit with us as pleasant and comfortable as we possibly can. We also want to ensure that the guests that follow you will have and equally pleasant and comfortable visit. To assure this happens, we would like for all our guests to follow some simple, yet highly important Dos and Don’ts. Check In is 3:00 P.M. -- Check Out time is 11:00 A.M. unless other arrangements have been made. DO NOT: NO SMOKING in any indoor areas. Not the lounge, not the bathrooms and not the kitchens nor work areas. Any smoking must be done outdoors. We ask that you not throw the butts on the ground. We take seriously the need to assure that each unit is smoke free for all of our guests. In light of that, if you smoke inside, your stay will be terminated and a $150.00 fee will be added to your room charge. DO NOT put anything down the kitchen sink or toilets. We are on septic systems and, although very effective, they can have problems functioning properly if abused. DO NOT CLEAN FISH in your cabins or rooms. There is a fish cleaning stand on the dock with a hand operated water pump that will need to be primed. Refrain from cooking fish inside of any of the cabin, chalet or lodge kitchens. The units did not smell like fish when you came and we would like them to smell fresh for our next guests. There are ample outdoor grills, smokers and deep fryers that can be used for cooking fish. There will be an addition cleaning charge of $100.00 if our housekeeping needs to deodorize the lingering fish and grease smell. Do not place any garbage on the ground outside of your unit. We have unexpected visitors come around at night looking for a morsel to snack on. They will make a mess of everything that is left out doors. Please use the dumpster located in front of the main entrance to River Ridge Inn, or call us and we will arrange to have it picked up. DO: Ask for extra towels, sheets, linens and soap. There should be adequate supply of each in your rooms, usually under the bathroom sink. There you will find other items….first aid kit, toilet paper, hair drier; but, if you need more, please ask. In the Chalets or cottages, you will find garbage bags, dish soap, paper towels under the Kitchen Sink. Give us YOUR OPINIONS AND SUGGESTIONS relative to your stay. This feedback is extremely important to us. It will make your future stays with us even better. Giving us a critique on Facebook, TripAdvisor or ResortsandLodges.com will help us to know what we are doing right, and what we are doing wrong. . Remember to LEAVE THE KEYS in the room or cottage. Sometimes we forget to ask for them at check-out. If need be, thoughtfully mail them back to us. EMERGENCIES OR SPECIAL NEEDS Accidents do happen, and sometimes you just need to get something you forgot to bring with you. If the need arises, you should: CALL 911 FOR EMERGENCY. Many times, time is of the essence. If you think you have an emergency, immediately call 911. Don’t waste time trying to hunt one of the Inn personnel; you can locate us after help is on the way.
